My Top Movies/Netflix/Books 2018

Posted by

As for movies, I have not seen everything notable yet, but my favorite overall was Bohemian Rhapsody, which was my overall favorite of the year.  Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse had the best screenplay.  Eighth Grade was best debut from a new filmmaker.

Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari was my favorite book.

I discovered an entirely new sub-genre of music called “synthwave” in particular the sub-genre doing 1980s styled electronic music.  The music sounds as if it was created in an alternate universe in the 1980s,  with acts like The Midnight and Electric Youth.
