Unfortunately, taking my DJI Mavic Pro drone into Jordan was impossible due to the local laws.
I probably could have gotten away with some drone flights in Israel in some remote areas, but it wasn’t worth the hassle of lugging 2-3 pounds of gear around, only to launch a couple times. If only I brought it, however, I could have gotten some killer drone video of the Dead Sea area. It’s a visually spectacular area.
So without my DJI Mavic, I resorted to being an iPhone photographer. I managed to get some pretty good shots.
