I took the kids to the Austin Humane Society a couple weeks ago.
I finally decided it was time to adopt some cats.
It’s been four years since I lost my last cat, Homer.
I told Miles and Luke they could pick out the kittens so they felt more personally invested in the decision.
The kids picked two white short hair kittens, which they named Sonic and Tails, after their favorite video game, Sonic The Hedgehog.
