We took the kids to Galveston, Texas for their summer vacation. It was my first time visiting the area.
We rented a beach house in Jamaica Beach, which is about five (5) miles outside the main strip of Galveston. Weather was good. The beach was mediocre, but it was uncrowded, which was nice.
We hit up the following: Pirates of The Gulf Coast, Dolphin Cruise, Moody Gardens Rainforest, Moody Gardens Waterpark and Nate’s West End Restaurant. I flew my DJI Mavic drone along the beach.
Kids had good time. Overall, it was a good summer break.
It was nice to see the kids outside the house playing in sand and ocean water, instead of being glued to a TV/video game screen.
